A little DIY

It’s been  a while since I made a jewelry. I didn’t even realize how much I missed it until I decided I needed a chain for a Chanel medallion pendant I got online. I bought it as recycled fashion, the authentic pendant with a necklace chain but the chain does not match the pendant at all, I tried looking for a ready made chain but could not find the best one, so I decided for a DIY, nothing fancy, simple and basic, see material used below

1 – 17″ brass chain

1 – Brass Trigger clasp 1 – Open jump ring

1 – Flat nose pliers and curve tip nose pliers

I found these materials at www.houseofgems.com. Their prices are reasonable, they ship fast and hey they are located in Orange County, CA so just 1 day ship to me. I searched for the right color of chains and findings at the other local stores but couldn’t find exactly what I am looking for to make this chain.

They also have some really nice beads for my future DIY later.

Geometric, Art Deco Bangles

JuiceBeauty.com   I am currently obsessed with geometric theme in jewelry, sure it is always there but the ones that I favor looks bad ass. It is a minimalist dream but definitely had a punch of making a statement. I especially love the ones with stones in them.

If anyone is interested and obsessed like me, I started selling them in my Poshmark closet.

I also found pieces that I added on my wish list.

My Vera Meat Collection

One of my favorite pieces are from a company called VeraMeat, if you are an active Instagram user, you might have seen them being sported by the elite bloggers and fans like myself. Their designs are a statement piece yet dainty in its way. Some jewelry are like that. No need to be loud or BIG to be noticeable. According to the company’s website, “the  repertoire is playful and ferocious” (Verameat.com)

I am still a newbie collector of their items, and they are my favorite items, they flair out the simplest outfit. I don’t look so plain in t-shirt and shorts whenever I have one of them. So far here are my collection.

Wishbone Necklace . Dino Claw Hugs Ring . Hi I’m Tiny French . Lucky Shoe . Skull Ring . WTF Ring . Baby Bulldog

I have my eye on the helm ring, Peace Hand necklace, Paint the town red necklace and the spine bracelet. All in goods time.
